Questions and Tips for a pleasant Spacio experience:

Your spa experience is all about you. We want you to feel comfortable from the minute you arrive. Whether you're here to just relax, or for some special treatment, it's easier if you know what's going to happen.

For that reason, we have gathered a list of questions that many people have asked. If we haven't covered a subject you want to know, please feel free to ask. We want you to have the best experience possible.

Arrival time:
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time. This gives you time to change, and for you to start to relax.

Parking:
Two hour metered parking is available along Halsted Street. Neighborhood parking is available until 6pm. Please inquire about longer-term parking.

Robes, sandals:
Robes, sandals, towels and all essential amenities are provided. Shower facilities are also available.

What to Wear:
Massage: You are given a robe to wear to the room and are securely draped and covered on the massage table so most people don't wear anything. If you are uncomfortable, you may wear underwear.

Facial: Best to undress from the waist up so that your Esthetician can treat the décolleté.

Tanning: We provide disposable panties, or you may wear your own bathing suit or undergarments. If you choose to wear your own, make sure they are dark in color so they won't stain.

Hydrotherapy Bath: Most wear nothing, but you may wear a bathing suit or disposable undergarments if you are more comfortable.

Gratuity:
Gratuities are appreciated and are at your discretion. We feel you should decide on how much to give based on how well the technician does. 18-20% is the customary amount. Reminder: Gratuities are cash only.

Jewelry:
Best left at home. If you bring your valuables we recommend locking them in the locker in a purse or pocket. This way they won't get left behind, or washed in a robe.

Other things to know:

We accept cash and major credit cards. No checks please.

We require a major credit card to reserve all appointments. Services that are not cancelled within 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment will be charged 50 percent of the service cost.

Merchandise returns are for exchange or store credit only. There are no cash refunds. All returns must be within 30 days and accompanied by an original receipt. No refunds on services or gift cards.

Spacio is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings.

Children over the age of 12 are welcome. Out of respect for other guests, we don't allow small children in the spa.

Please turn off all cell phones and pagers when entering the salon or spa.
